Highlights

Erziping Trail
Located between the main peak of Mt. Datun and Mt. Erzi, the approximately 2-kilometer long Erziping Trail was built along a volcano-tectonic depression in Yangmingshan and ranked as the country’s top 10 scenic trails, rivaling those in the Alishan and Taroko Gorge.
Taipei
Taipei, officially Taipei City, is the capital and a special municipality of Taiwan (officially the Republic of China, ROC). Located in northern Taiwan, Taipei City is an enclave of the municipality of New Taipei City that sits about 25 km southwest of the northern port city of Keelung. Most of the city lies in the Taipei Basin, an ancient lakebed. The basin is bounded by the relatively narrow valleys of the Keelung and Xindian rivers, which join to form the Tamsui River along the city's western border.
Xiaoyoukeng area
Located in Yangmingshan National Park, Xiaoyoukeng is probably one of the best places to feel the pulsation of the volcano under your feet. This area is where visitors head to see the steaming vents and sulfur deposits. It is a picturesque area full of volcanic geological features and is settled about 805 meters high.
Yangming Shuwu
The Zhongxing Guesthouse also known as the Yangmingshuwu is a historical site located on Zhongxing road in Yangmingshan National Park in the Beitou District of Taipei, Taiwan.
Yangmingshan National Park
Yangmingshan National Park is one of the nine national parks in Taiwan, located between Taipei and New Taipei City. The districts that house parts of the park grounds include Taipei's Beitou and Shilin Districts; and New Taipei's Wanli, Jinshan and Sanzhi districts. The National Park is famous for its cherry blossoms, hot springs, sulfur deposits, fumaroles, venomous snakes, and hiking trails, including Taiwan's tallest dormant volcano, Seven Star Mountain (1,120 m).
Zhuzihu village
Home to Yangmingshan's Calla Lillies, Zhuzihu is a quaint local farming village hidden away in the mountains. Originally a lava-dammed lake created by the surrounding volcanoes, the area's unique geology became suitable for farming, terraced rice paddies early on, and other unique flora with time. Besides the Calla Lilly, visitors can explore the neighbouring pine and bamboo forests, view cherry trees and the local Formosan Sweetgum, as well as browse the local farms and enjoy unique treats.
