Zhangzhou Volcano National Park and Daimei Ancient Village from Xiamen

Daimei Village, a model of "Red Brick Buildings of Southern Min Area", is located on the banks of the Nanxi River in Jiulong River, surrounded by Jilong Mountain, Damao Mountain and Eshan Mountain. Daimei Village is surrounded by water on all sides and old eucalyptus everywhere. An inland river, such as a long dragon, embraces the village, making it a veritable "Zhouzhuang in Southern Min Area". Looking down from the air, the entire group of ancient pelicans is like floating above the river, forming a unique landscape.

Located at the southeast coast of China, Xiamen is a tourist city of Fujian Province famous for its attractive seascape. As one of the major seaports since ancient times, it boasts a wide gulf with deep water but without freezing and silting. The name was consequently given, which means 'the gate of China'. As one of the forerunners of the special economic zones of China, the city mainly consisting of Xiamen Island, Gulangyu Island, the north bank area of the Jiulong River and Tong'an County, is connected with the mainland by the Gaoji Seawall, Xiamen Bridge, etc. The city has been called the Egret Island because of the hundreds of thousands of egrets inhabiting there. This is one of the most beautiful and impressive Volcano National Geoparks in China. It is known for its unique volcanic geological structure and some amazing and incredible attractions. Zhangzhou Seaside Volcano National Geopark is the only coastal volcanic island in China.
